Through the years I’ve seen the heartbreak families endure when they experience the loss of a child. While dealing with their grief, it is painful to visit the cheerful departments in stores, where baby clothes are sold. Additionally, these babies are often too small for the standard sizes for baby clothes.

Recently, I learned about angel gowns, made from wedding gowns, and offered free of charge to anyone in need. After reading the tragic story of a young couple who lost their infant to SIDS and didn’t know about the angel gowns; I made the decision to begin making these garments and give them away in my area.

You can help by donating wedding gowns, bridesmaid’s dresses, prom dresses, flower girl dresses, veils, lace, ribbon, etc. White and pastels are understandably the most commonly used. However; some parents prefer other colors and I’m happy to provide those. Stains, rips, broken zippers, missing buttons, etc., are not a problem.
